This is not our van but it is kind of what kind of damage we have except the damage was in the center and not on the sides. Last night we were on our way to church when a group of deer ran right out in front of us. There was no way we could stop and we hit a deer head on. It crunched up the front of the van and wrecked our radiator. No one was hurt thank goodness but the kids were VERY scared. However now I do not have a van. I do have Nate's truck if I need to get out but I HATE driving it. It is SO huge. I am just so thankful that if we were going to have to hit it that we hit it the way we did so that it did not come up over the hood and went off to the side. Poor thing.

Well I have to say that I'm glad no one was hurt! South Jersey is teaming with deer this year. Came close a few times myself....Terry

Caleb couldn't talk fast enough last night when telling me about all the excitement. I am so glad that no one was hurt and that the deer didn't go up over the hood. Let's hope all is fixed quickly.

Oh Brenda - I am sooo glad you guys are ok. My uncles have had their big 'ol trucks totalled hitting deer over the years, so I know what an impact it has on the vehicle as well as your emotions too!

I heard a little about this Wednesday night but I didn't get the details and I was too tired to hang around any longer! I'm glad everyone is safe!... except for the deer of course... If you need a ride anywhere, call me! :)

Brenda, I'm glad no one was hurt. Hitting a deer is something I fear. I'm constantly watching for them, not that that will do me much good if they jump out in front of me =-)
