Some of you know that I was adopted when I was a baby. God gave me the best parents in the whole wide world. Growing up and not knowing my heritage when I was younger was difficult at the time. Even though in reality it doesn't really matter much to me because I am a child of God and that is the only heritage that I care about. Growing up my favorite song has always been "Amazing Grace" on the bagpipes. Imagine my surprise in learning that I was part scotch.
I just wanted to share my favorite song with you today!!
This was the best one I could find on you tube.

How neat that you could find a video of that. Very cool!
I have always thought it is neat that you know both sides of adoption. I love that song too, and the best way to hear it is on the bagpipe. Thanks for sharing it.
When I was listening to this, the first thing to come to my mind was our cross-over into the new church building. Did I remember that right for any of you who were here then? Very cool bagpipes!
I'm so glad you put this song up. First of all, I love Amazing Grace, and second, the only thing that I love more than the song is hearing it played on bagpipes! It's so beautiful!!
Diane, I remember when Mr. Adams played it when we "crossed-over", that is the part I remember most/best!
Wow! You all have great memories! When you said it I remembered the bagpipes being played at the "crossed-over" but there is no way I would have come up with that without someone saying it. Too many cobwebs I guess.
Smiles!
Love that song too- it is great on the bagpipes!
